In an incident that left both families and authorities deeply concerned, three young boys from Delhi, all self-proclaimed die-hard fans of Bollywood megastar Salman Khan, disappeared from their homes earlier this week, sparking a frantic search across multiple states. The minors, aged between 12 and 14, were eventually traced and found unharmed in Nashik, Maharashtra—over 1,200 kilometers away—after being missing for nearly four days.
According to police reports, the boys had embarked on a secret journey with one mission in mind: to meet their idol, Salman Khan. Inspired by the actor’s stardom and his on-screen persona, the trio left their respective homes without informing anyone, taking along only a small amount of money and a vague plan to reach Mumbai, where the superstar resides.
Their families, noticing their sudden disappearance, reported them missing to local police stations in Delhi, triggering a widespread search. Authorities quickly launched an investigation, and child protection agencies were roped in to assist. CCTV footage from bus stands and railway stations helped track the children’s movements. It is believed they boarded a train from Delhi and managed to reach Nashik, where they were finally located by local police, following a tip-off from a vigilant shopkeeper who found their behavior suspicious and alerted the authorities.
The children, when questioned, revealed that they had saved up pocket money and gathered information from the internet to make the journey. Their goal was to somehow reach Galaxy Apartments in Bandra, the residence of Salman Khan, in hopes of meeting the actor in person. However, they ended up getting stranded in Nashik after running out of money and struggling to navigate further.
Fortunately, they were found before any harm could befall them. The Nashik Police contacted Delhi authorities and the children’s families, and arrangements were immediately made to reunite them with their parents. The boys were also counselled by child welfare officers to help them understand the risks of such actions.
While the children’s dedication to their favorite actor has caught public attention and sparked conversations on fan culture, the incident has also raised serious concerns about the need for digital supervision and awareness among minors. Authorities have reminded parents to keep a close watch on children’s online activities, especially in the age of social media where celebrity influence can sometimes blur the lines between admiration and obsession.
As for Salman Khan, though no official statement has been made yet, sources close to the actor have expressed relief over the safe recovery of the children and urged fans to always prioritize safety and family communication over such impulsive adventures.
This extraordinary episode serves as both a reminder of the power celebrities hold over young minds and a wake-up call to guide that admiration in healthier, more responsible ways.
