Salman Khan Speaks Out on Death Threats from Lawrence Bishnoi: ‘My fate is sealed.

Salman Khan reacted on death threats he had received from Lawrence Bishnoi while talking to the media at a recent event promoting Sikandar.

For the past two years, actor Salman Khan has faced persistent death threats from gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, leading to heightened security, particularly following the death of his friend, Baba Siddique. Despite these concerns, Khan has remained focused on his professional commitments, including the upcoming release of “Sikandar,” co-starring Rashmika Mandanna.

During a promotional event for “Sikandar” on Wednesday, Khan addressed the ongoing threats, stating, “God, Allah, everything depends on Him. It’s predetermined how long I’ll live. That’s it. Sometimes, I have to take so many people along, that causes a problem.” This statement acknowledges the inherent danger and the logistical challenges of maintaining security for himself and his entourage.

While Lawrence Bishnoi is currently incarcerated in Sabarmati jail, his gang has been implicated in multiple threats against Khan. In April of last year, gunfire erupted outside Khan’s Bandra residence. Navi Mumbai police also uncovered a plot to assassinate Khan during his travels to his Panvel farmhouse. Subsequent threats have included extortion demands and calls for an apology regarding the alleged blackbuck killing incident during the filming of “Hum Saath Saath Hai” in 1998, a sensitive issue for the Bishnoi community.

The core of Bishnoi’s animosity stems from this alleged blackbuck hunting incident, as the animal holds sacred status within the Bishnoi community.

Despite the ongoing threats, Khan is focused on the release of “Sikandar,” directed by AR Murugadoss. The film, also starring Rashmika Mandanna, Sathyaraj, Kajal Aggarwal, and Sharman Joshi, is scheduled for an Eid release. Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala’s Nadiadwala and Grandson Entertainment, “Sikandar” promises to be a major release for the actor.
