Just a couple of days after celebrating their third wedding anniversary, Bollywood power couple Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt were seen checking on the progress of their much-anticipated dream home in Mumbai. On April 16, the duo was spotted at the construction site, inspecting their future residence.
A video from their visit recently surfaced online, first shared by Pinkvilla on Instagram. In the clip, Ranbir can be seen arriving at the property dressed casually in a black t-shirt, matching shorts, sneakers, and a cap. Alia, sporting a relaxed look in a loose shirt and shorts, was seen waiting nearby as the couple reviewed the ongoing work. The footage also showed Ranbir closely observing the site before the two left the location together in their car.
Ranbir and Alia marked their third wedding anniversary on April 14. To celebrate the milestone, Alia shared a sweet photo on Instagram, capturing an intimate beachside moment. In the picture, Ranbir is seen looking at the camera while Alia snuggles against him, captioned with the heartfelt line: “Home, always. #Happy3” along with heart and hug emojis. The couple are proud parents to daughter Raha.
The home they were inspecting is none other than the iconic Krishna Raj bungalow, a property deeply cherished by the Kapoor family. Named after Ranbir’s late grandmother, the house has been undergoing redevelopment for several years. Originally owned by legendary actor Raj Kapoor and Krishna Raj, the bungalow was passed down to Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor in the 1980s, who raised their family there.
Plans to renovate the house began in 2016, with reports suggesting that once completed, the entire Kapoor clan — including Ranbir’s mother, Neetu Kapoor — could eventually move into the new space together. There has also been speculation that the house may be named in honor of Ranbir and Alia’s daughter, Raha. According to a report by Bollywood Life, the new home reportedly carries an estimated value of around ₹250 crore.
For now, the couple continues to reside at their current residence, Vastu, along with little Raha, as they wait for their family’s legacy home to be completed.
