Global star Priyanka Chopra Jonas has expressed her appreciation for Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his administration for championing the WAVES 2025 summit, describing it as a monumental leap for India’s creative and cultural industries on the international stage.
In a video message shared with her millions of followers across social media platforms, Chopra praised the World Audio Visual and Entertainment Summit (WAVES)—being held in Mumbai from May 1 to 4—as a turning point that demonstrates India’s readiness to lead globally in media, storytelling, and digital innovation. She described the summit as “India’s bold step onto the world stage,” highlighting it as a unified platform where the nation’s vibrant traditions and modern creativity converge.
Chopra emphasized that WAVES is not just another industry gathering—it is a symbol of ambition and a reflection of India’s potential in the global content economy. The actor and producer credited the government’s forward-thinking approach and the leadership of Prime Minister Modi for making WAVES 2025 a reality.
