Parag Tyagi Quashes Rumours About Dog Simba’s Health Post Shefali Jariwala’s Demise: “He’s Participating in the Rituals for His Mom”

Actor Parag Tyagi has finally broken his silence regarding the swirling speculations surrounding the well-being of his beloved pet dog Simba, days after the heartbreaking loss of his wife, actress and former Bigg Boss contestant Shefali Jariwala. As tributes continue to pour in for Shefali from friends, fans, and the television fraternity, concern also grew over Simba, who was known to be extremely attached to her.

In a touching statement shared with the media and through his social channels, Parag addressed the rising number of inquiries and rumors suggesting that Simba had fallen ill after Shefali’s untimely passing. “There’s been a lot of speculation about Simba’s condition lately,” Parag said. “Let me reassure everyone — Simba is doing fine physically. He is grieving, just like I am. But he is not sick.”

Parag went on to explain the depth of the bond shared between Shefali and Simba, calling them “inseparable souls.” The couple often posted heartwarming photos and videos with Simba, treating him not just as a pet, but as a cherished family member — their child. “Simba was Shefali’s baby. He slept beside her, followed her around the house, and understood her emotions better than anyone. Her absence is something he definitely feels — you can see it in his eyes, his silence. But he’s coping in his own way,” he said.

What truly moved people was Parag’s revelation that Simba had been part of the rituals held in Shefali’s memory. “He has been quietly sitting near her photo. It’s like he understands that his mom is gone. He’s been doing the rituals with us — sitting beside me during prayers. His presence brings a kind of peace to all of us,” Parag shared, his voice heavy with emotion.

He also urged the public to avoid spreading false narratives during such a sensitive time. “It’s a time of personal mourning and reflection. We appreciate everyone’s love and prayers, but I request people not to believe or circulate baseless information. Simba is a part of our family. He’s hurting, but he’s strong. Just like Shefali would have wanted him to be.”

Close friends of the couple have also come forward in support of Parag and Simba, sharing memories and calling the trio “a symbol of pure love and loyalty.” A family friend revealed that Simba had become unusually quiet after Shefali’s passing but remained close to Parag, refusing to leave his side.

The loss of Shefali Jariwala has been a shocking blow to her fans and colleagues. Known for her iconic music video “Kaanta Laga” and her memorable stint on Bigg Boss 13, she was not only a television personality but also a mental health advocate and animal lover. Her bond with Simba was evident to anyone who followed her on social media.

Parag concluded by saying, “Shefali brought light into our lives, and Simba was her shadow. While the light may have dimmed, the warmth remains in our hearts. Simba and I will continue to find strength in each other and in the love that surrounds us.”
