International dancer-turned-actor Lauren Gottlieb has never shied away from expressing her admiration for Indian talent, and in a recent interview, she candidly opened up about the few celebrities she’s ever dared to directly message in hopes of collaborating with them. The dancer, who shot to fame in India after appearing on reality shows like Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa and later ventured into Bollywood films, revealed that she has reached out to only three stars via direct message (DM): Allu Arjun, Hrithik Roshan, and Yo Yo Honey Singh.
Speaking passionately about her dream collaborations, Lauren shared that these three Indian entertainers hold a special place in her heart—not only because of their widespread fame but due to the creative energy and artistic brilliance they bring to the table.
“In all these years, I’ve only ever DM’d three Indian celebrities,” Lauren admitted. “Those were Allu Arjun, Hrithik Roshan, and Honey Singh. It takes a lot for me to do that, but these are people I’ve always wanted to work with, and I felt I had to take that leap and just reach out.”
Explaining her admiration for each of them, Lauren elaborated on what makes these artists stand out to her. “Allu Arjun is a powerhouse of dance and charisma. His presence on screen is just electric, and as a dancer, I have so much respect for the way he moves. Watching his performances is an experience in itself,” she said, praising the Telugu superstar known for his fluid dance moves and energetic screen persona.
Turning to Hrithik Roshan, Lauren called him the gold standard of dance in Bollywood. “Hrithik is every dancer’s dream partner. The finesse, the precision, the way he embodies rhythm—it’s truly inspiring. Collaborating with him would be like a masterclass for me,” she said with excitement.
And when it came to music, Lauren didn’t hold back her admiration for rapper and music producer Yo Yo Honey Singh. “Honey Singh brings a whole different vibe. His beats are infectious, his energy is contagious, and his understanding of how to get people grooving is unmatched. I think we could create something really unique and dynamic together,” she added.
Lauren’s journey in Indian entertainment has been an interesting one. Starting off as a contestant and later as a choreographer, she successfully transitioned into acting, appearing in films like ABCD: Any Body Can Dance. Over time, she has built a strong connection with Indian audiences and continues to express her love for the country’s vibrant dance and music culture.
While these dream collaborations haven’t materialized yet, Lauren remains optimistic. “You never know what tomorrow holds. I believe if you put your energy out into the universe with the right intention, good things come your way. I’m still hopeful and excited for the day I get to work with any one of them,” she said with a smile.
Her openness about taking the initiative, even as an established performer herself, is refreshing. In an industry where networking and collaboration often happen behind the scenes or through agencies, Lauren’s direct approach shows her genuine passion for her craft and respect for her idols.
Fans of the dancer-actor have already started buzzing on social media, hoping that one or more of these dream partnerships come true soon. Whether it’s matching Hrithik step-for-step, grooving to Allu Arjun’s rhythms, or delivering a hit number with Honey Singh—Lauren Gottlieb is clearly ready for her next big stage.
