Bollywood actor Tusshar Kapoor, known for his roles in films like Golmaal and Kyaa Kool Hai Hum, recently opened up about an eerie but intriguing experience from his past — using a Ouija board to supposedly connect with the spirit world. The actor, while chatting in a candid interview, revealed that he once dabbled in supernatural experimentation purely out of curiosity, and not with any serious intent.
Speaking about his brush with the paranormal, Tusshar admitted that he had tried communicating with spirits through a Ouija board, something many consider taboo or dangerous. He clarified, however, that it was all done “just for fun” and without any deep-rooted belief in occult practices.
“I’m naturally curious about a lot of things in life,” he said. “But my curiosity has limits. I never let it reach a point where it consumes me or turns into obsession.” The actor added that although he participated in the Ouija board session, he didn’t take it too seriously and preferred to treat it more like a light-hearted experiment rather than a spiritual quest.
Tusshar shared that the incident took place during his younger days when he and some friends decided to try the Ouija board during a casual get-together. “It was more of a group activity than anything spiritual. Everyone was excited and a bit spooked, but it was never meant to be anything more than entertainment,” he laughed.
While some people report feeling energies or even communicating with unknown entities during such sessions, Tusshar chose not to dwell too much on the experience. He confessed that although he found the session “creepy,” he did not go digging deeper into the supernatural realm afterward.
“I like to know things, but I don’t chase the unexplained,” he explained. “Once it starts feeling too real or beyond reason, I step back. I’m more of a realist at heart.”
The actor’s revelation surprised many of his fans, who rarely associate Tusshar with the mystical or horror genres. Despite the ghostly experiment, he made it clear that he has no plans to explore such things further — neither in real life nor through his film choices.
In a world where celebrities often get entangled with superstitions or paranormal beliefs, Tusshar’s take is refreshingly balanced. He might have entertained the ghostly for a night, but he remains firmly grounded in reality.
