Actor Tikku Talsania, who made a remarkable recovery after suffering a brain stroke earlier this year, is back to work and already involved in several projects. The veteran actor, known for his roles in classic films like Dil Hai Ki Manta Nahin (1991), Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa (1993), and Ishq (1997), shared that he has joined four new acting ventures since his recovery.
In January, Tikku was hospitalized at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai following a medical scare. While initial reports speculated a heart attack, his wife, Deepti Talsania, clarified that it was a brain stroke. She recalled that Tikku had fallen ill after attending a film screening and was quickly admitted to the hospitalNow, nearly four months later, Tikku is fully recovered and eager to return to his passion. “I’m feeling great now. I’ve already worked on four films since leaving the hospital, and I’m so happy to be back in action,” he says. Tikku will soon appear in the Gujarati film Jai Mata Ji Let’s Rock, a comedy that piqued his interest due to its script and his intriguing character. “The script was engaging, and the director’s vision really spoke to me, so I knew I wanted to be part of it,” he shares.
With a career spanning over three decades and more than 200 projects in both film and television, Tikku has shown no signs of slowing down. Despite his recent health scare, he remains as passionate about acting as ever. “If the script is strong and the character resonates with me, I’m always ready to take on the role,” he explains. For Tikku, every project is an opportunity to connect with a character that feels like it was made for him, and he’s excited to continue doing what he loves.
