Social media sensation Orry, also known as Orhan Awatramani, recently shared a funny yet honest confession about feeling overshadowed by none other than Urvashi Rautela at a party he hosted. Speaking in an interview with Screen, Orry opened up about the moment Urvashi arrived at his event and, quite literally, stole the spotlight — leaving him feeling a little insecure.
The moment dates back to February, during Urvashi’s 31st birthday celebrations. Orry had organized a bash in her honor, but when she made her grand entrance, all eyes shifted to her. He described the scene as nothing short of a movie moment — Urvashi didn’t just walk in; she arrived with her personal spotlight, held by an assistant, which gave the entire moment an extra layer of glamour and drama.
Recalling the moment, Orry joked that her entrance was so captivating that anyone present would’ve pulled out their phone to capture it — even if you were someone as high-profile as Donald Trump. “I was standing on the table as the host, and suddenly there she was, lit up like the star she is. I had to record it! This woman really knows how to make an entrance,” he said, clearly amused and impressed by her style.
Despite his usual confidence, which he refers to as his “inner glow,” Orry admitted that Urvashi’s real spotlight outshined him that night. He even turned to his group mid-party and teased, asking why no one had thought to bring a spotlight for him.
But Orry didn’t let the moment pass without a playful clapback. Later that night, as the two danced to Dabidi Dibidi near the DJ console — a video that later went viral — he cheekily gave Urvashi a gentle push. According to Orry, that playful shove was his light-hearted revenge for her larger-than-life entrance. “We were dancing to her own song, and while everyone had their cameras out, I gave her a little push. That was my way of saying, ‘You’ve taken enough attention for one night!’” Orry explained.
He even joked that Urvashi had once tried to blind him with her spotlight. When he uploaded the dancing video, he captioned it humorously, hinting at his moment of insecurity: “Urvashi, you’re taking too much attention. My inner glow is no match for your actual spotlight!”
On the work front, Urvashi Rautela recently made a sizzling appearance in Jaat, a film starring Sunny Deol and Randeep Hooda, where she featured in the song Sorry Bol. Up next, she will be seen in the romantic-horror sequel Kasoor 2, starring opposite Aftab Shivdasani. Aftab, who announced the project on his birthday last year, expressed heartfelt gratitude for being part of a film so special to him, calling it a gift he was truly excited about.
